Why Forest Bathing Retreat
The simple idea of Forest Bathing or spending quality and quiet time in nature may seem easy, but it is actually quite amazing and often life transforming. The Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, or “Forest Bathing” holistic concept of healing, relaxation and rejuvenation can occur by immersing oneself in nature and walking slowly through forests and under the trees.
Forest Bathing, or shinrin-yoku, is the act of strolling through a forested area with the intention to heal and holistic health. Spending time around trees and taking a meditative walk(Parikrama or Pradakshina) around trees reduces stress, lowers blood pressure and improves mood. Circumbulatory or pathway around the trees.
